Overview
The Courses feature allows you to create, manage, and organize language learning courses for your students. You can create courses manually or use AI to generate comprehensive course content automatically.
Getting Started
Accessing Courses
- Log in to your teacher account
- In the sidebar, go to Teaching → Courses
- You'll see a list of all your courses
Creating a New Course
Manual Course Creation
- Click the "Create Course" button
- Fill in the course details:
- Title: Give your course a clear, descriptive name (e.g., "Spanish for Beginners")
- Description: Explain what students will learn
- Language: Select the language being taught
- Level: Choose the appropriate level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
- Topic (optional): Specify a focus area (e.g., Business, Travel, Cooking)
- Content: Write your course materials, lessons, and exercises
- Click "Create Course" to save
AI-Generated Course Creation
- Click "Create with AI" button
- Provide the following information:
- Title: Course name
- Description: Brief overview of what the course should cover
- Language: Target language
- Level: Student proficiency level
- Topic (optional): Specific focus area
- Click "Generate Course"
- The AI will create comprehensive course content including:
- Structured lessons
- Vocabulary sections
- Grammar explanations
- Practice exercises
- Cultural context
- Review and edit the generated content as needed
- Click "Create Course" to save
Managing Existing Courses
Viewing Course Details
- Click on any course from your courses list
- You'll see:
- Course title and description
- Language and level
- Full course content
- Creation date
- Number of students enrolled (if applicable)
Editing a Course
- Open the course you want to edit
- Click the "Edit" button
- Make your changes to any field
- Click "Save Changes"
Deleting a Course
- Open the course you want to delete
- Click the "Delete" button
- Confirm the deletion
- Note: This action cannot be undone
