Admin Guide: Managing Teachers

Overview

The Teachers section allows you to invite, manage, and monitor your teaching staff. Control who can create content and teach students in your organization.

Accessing Teachers

  1. Log in with your admin account
  2. In the sidebar, go to Teachers
  3. View all teaching staff

Teacher Management

Viewing Teachers

  • See all current teachers
  • View their status (active/inactive)
  • Check their activity
  • See assigned courses
  • Monitor student count

Inviting Teachers

  1. Click "Invite Teacher"
  2. Enter email address
  3. Set initial permissions
  4. Send invitation
  5. They receive email with signup link

Teacher Roles

  • Teacher: Can create courses, tests, manage students
  • Admin: Full access including organization settings
  • Inactive: Account disabled temporarily

Promoting to Admin

  1. Find the teacher
  2. Click "Edit Permissions"
  3. Select "Admin" role
  4. Confirm change
  5. Teacher gains admin access

Removing Teachers

  1. Find the teacher to remove
  2. Click "Remove" or "Deactivate"
  3. Choose to delete or deactivate
  4. Confirm action
  5. Their content remains unless deleted

  • Name and email
  • Join date
  • Last active
  • Courses created
  • Students taught
  • Activity level

Performance Metrics

  • Courses published
  • Student enrollment
  • Student satisfaction
  • Content quality
  • Engagement rate

Common Questions

Q: How many teachers can I have? A: Depends on your subscription plan. Check Settings → Subscription.

Q: Can teachers see each other's content? A: Yes, teachers can view but not edit other teachers' content.

Q: What happens to a teacher's content if they leave? A: Content remains unless you delete it. You can reassign it to another teacher.

Q: Can I limit what teachers can do? A: Yes, through role permissions. Contact support for custom permissions.
